We assist people to regain and retain their independence within a supportive community by providing them with choice and flexibility in access to services, care and support. Since beginning in 1957, our services and programs have impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of Victorians. Why Choose Independence Australia? Working with our qualified, nationally registered and specifically trained staff who provide support and care access across Victoria will give you the opportunity to create a program that you want, tailored to your needs. With more than sixty years of experience providing support to Victorians comes the awareness that offering customer flexibility and choice is essential, and as such we have made this a focus in the delivery of our services. Who do you provide support for? We provide support and access care services for Victorian participants of NDIS, TAC, Worksafe and other funding bodies. Independence Australia provides services throughout Victoria for people seeking a minimum 5 hours of support per week, with a minimum of 2 hours per shift as a requirement. How we help is up to you... Our support workers are available to visit your home in the mornings, afternoons or evenings to help you prepare or wind down for the day. Monday to Sunday, 7 Days per week. We provide support across the following categories • Complex Care (see second page for further details) • Personal Care • Domestic Assistance • Community Access • Meal Preparation • Sleepovers • Psychology and Counselling • Support Groups • Health and Wellbeing Programs We will work with you to develop a support plan that meets your requested needs. Our friendly and experienced support workers will provide you with comfort and care to help you through your daily tasks. We promise to... • Listen and understand what support you require, as it changes over time • Deliver your program experienced support workers who are nationally accredited, and police checked • Be there for you from 2 hours to 24 hours a day, every day as you choose. Meet your needs we’re one of Victoria’s largest care providers with over 5,000 client visits a week.
